Pictures of the Painted Chassis
Here are some views of the painted chassis. I spent quite a few weeks with a grinder, wire wheeling undercoating from the underside of the car. After I got all of the undercoating off I sprayed the chassis with Eastwood's 2K ceramic urethane paint. Under the ceramic paint I used Eastwood's epoxy primer. I chose a satin finish to help to hide imperfections. The paint is also available in a gloss. Also included are a few pictures of the rear end housing (also painted with Eastwood's 2k ceramic paint) and some views of the steering linkage. The items that appear to be bare metal are painted with Dupli•Color's Cast Coat Iron Engine Enamel.
